6day conference and 4 days village missions.Honestly i have no idea what God has in store for me, but im praying that i'll come back a different CHINNY!=))

BACK FROM MISSION!
praise God for a fun filled and fruitful mission that changes many lives! pretty place that we went!=) Introducing NOBO ACADEMY.=))
at singapore airport!we are really excited and ready to go!=)) thats sam quek, dani and chinny!=)
pretty dog we saw outside our dinner place! but cant take a proper pic with it cuz it kept moving around and wanting to lick me and dani!=))

this is the place where we slept!=)thank God for the green mosquitoe nets that protected us against the intruders(lizard,millipedes and other unknown thingys) at night=))
the karen youths that we all love so much!=) they were always so energetic when we dance and sing worship songs with them!=))

1)God changed my perspective of church missions=) i never knew that church missions could be so impactful.The previous ones that i went, we just went there to equip the youths with musical skills and went there to teach bible stories to the children. I went and came back feeling pretty much the same.
But this time it was different,many lives were touched and changed by God as we knelt before Him and pray with all our hearts during the minsitry night. I was crying out for the karen youths,asking God to look upon them and grant them ready hearts to receive salvation into their lives. My heart was very burdened whenever i stare into their eyes and feel their lostness and their sadness in their lives.Though i could not really communicate fluently with the youths there, i know they have many sad stories to tell. Thank God for this amazing trip to let me know how blessed i really am.
2) I had to agree that this is what i really want to do for the rest of my life!=) Looking at the changed lives of both myself and my church friends, i cant help but say that investing time into missions and into the life of others is worthwhile. Like what william james said" the best use of life is to spend it for something that will out lasts it." 3) I got to know so many brothers and sisters more!=)
hahs. the crazy things that i did with mindy and dot in the middle of the night.The bathing sessions with the sisters really makes me laugh.hahas=))
I realize that anand can dance pretty well!And that joanne gets hyper when she drinks milk tea!=)hahs. and many more.
My heart is really thankful to God for this amazing trip!=)lets keep the fire burning xxon youths!=))

THAILAND MISSION TRIP
My dad allowed me to go for thailand mission last fri!=)
I was wondering if i shld go ahead with my church to go to thailand and minister to the refugee camps. And amazingly, God gave me dreams 2 days in a row, encouraging me through dreams where i seem my dad allowing me to go ahead for this trip=)
My fear was to communicated effectively with my dad and after much prayer and rehearsal, i went ahead to meet my dad for lunch and explain the entire trip to him. And what was amazing was that he had no objections at all and i really thank Jesus for being so real to me once again!=)
Trip is from 13june to 19june!=) AM truly excited!
Will update again when im back!=))
