this is probably the fifth time God is reminding me about this within a week itself=)
Soul rest found in only one place: seeking His kingdom and His righteousness. When we faithfully place our best energies , efforts and attention on this aim, all our necessities will be added on as well. Matthew 6:33
How true. Focusing on 2 things that will last forever. Word of God and souls of men.=)

wow. had an amazing time as i spend time with Daddy God today. He came knocking on my heart with so many new lessons and action steps that i need to take.
This testimony inspired my heart as i was reading a chapter of Authentic Faith regarding the ' Discipline of Mourning".
Larry's grandfather was one 'tough nut when it comes to the gospel. But before he died, he embraced the savior. Larry was asked to sing at his grandfather's funeral. At the end of the service,Larry stood by the casket, watching the mourners file past. His heart almost stopped when his dad finally stepped up to take one last look.
Though Larry's grandad had embraced the faith,Larry's father was still a self-described pagan.'im not one of you', he had once told a church group. He was highly independant
and pragmatic.
Larry watched as his dad gazed at his grandfather. His dad uttered a few parting words, then slowly touched the dead man's hands before moving on. Suddenly, Larry was seized with the future picture of himself standing at his dad's coffin, looking down and saying his final good-bye.He realized that if his dad continued in his unbelief, there would be no hope of heaven, and the parting would be as bitter as it was final.
There in front of everyone, Larry begin to weep.People came up to him and console him, assuming he was crying for his grandfather, but Larry knew his grandfather was in a blessed place. These tears were for his dad.
Larry realized that he couldnt give up.His mourning gave way to a new determination, and he dedicated himself to renew his prayers on his father's behalf.
After a very hurtful dispute, in which his dad vowed never to set foot into Larry's house again,Larry humbled himself, went over to his dad's house and asked for forgiveness and listened as his dad admitted his own wrongs. That gave Larry one more opportuntiy to share the reasons for his beliefs.
His dad didnt immediately embraced the faith, but he did start going to church. And on one sunday after spending an hour talking to the pastor, Larry's father accepted Jesus into his life. First thing Larry's dad said to Larry upon seeing was' well, im one of you now' = )
Had Larry insisted on immediately comfort, had he refused to feel the pain or face the agony of the possibility that his father would pass into eternity without salvation, his father might still be lost in is sin, eventually to die apart from grace.
Mourning calls us to plumb the depths of human experience, so that God can raise us to new heights.Mourning is a necessary anchor for our souls to keep us steady amid the reality of a fallen world. It reminds us of our true priorities and it can be use to compel us into godly action and into profound character growth.
Now is my turn.=) Praying doubly hard that as i seek to love and humble myself to go and communicate with my aunty and uncle, that God might use me to win one more for Christ.
Its tough, but this life is never mine to live, but its God's all along=))
Pray and ask God to break your heart for what break His.

Family is a blessing from the Lord=)
Used to think that my ministry and work are more important than my family. But i was so wrong. =) After reading a particular book a couple of months back, it reminded me that family is my ministry as well. That family should ALWAYS be at the top of my priority no matter what happens.
Though i must admit that reaching out to family whose hearts are blinded and hardened can be really challenging. But i also saw how God at the same time used me in little ways to love and bless them =)
-I repacked my room today to show that i love my family.=)
-Since i have to give my uncle and aunt allowance for staying in their house, i gave a little more today for my uncle to see a doctor cus he was ill.
-Spent extra time to talk and communicated with daddy to catch up on how we are doing.=)
Though it may not seemed to be much that i've done, i thank God for opportunities to bless my family in tangible ways to show them that i love and care for them=)
Heya im back! (for already a month) Am personally very blessed by this short trip to China=)
Was able to refocus my heart and able to see once again that indeed the harvest in plentiful and that the workers are few.
Thanksgivings
This trip was organized by a Korean Church in Shen Zhen, reaching out to young factory workers(aged 18-30) by doing medical ministry. There are different sations w
here the workers are required to go to.They had a time to play games, see the doctor and als
o a time to sit down and hear the gospel and have a chance to make a personal decision to receive Christ into their lives.
As the Singaporean team was involved in the medical area, i was needed to help out in dispensing the medical supplies to the factory workers fo
r the 3days of factory ministry. But deep in my heart, i was asking God for opportunities to share the gospel in Chinese to at least 1 during this trip. And indeed our Father is one who hears and answers prayers!
A Christian brother fell ill on the 2nd day and asked if i was able to take over his place to share the gospel to the factory workers. My heart was delighted and joyful at the privilege that God had given me.=)So for the next 2 days of ministry, i shared the gospel to 36 ladies from the factory and 26 of them indicated that they would like to receive Christ into their lives! Most of them came from villages and did not have a chance to hear t
he gospel before. Every soul is important and significant to the Lord, and i'm so thankful that i can be a vessel to be used by Him.
2#Thanksgiving
During the 3 days of factory ministry, there were evangelistic events every night put together by the members of the Korean Church. For the first 2 nights, it rained heavily and the workers had to watch the performance in the rain. Most of the performance fell and injured themselves.
On the last day, the pastor gathered us and called us to a time of fasting and prayer. Asking God for good weather for that last night. There would also be a alter call for anyone who wish to receive Christ into their lives. We desperately needed the intervention of our Lord.
Praise God there was no rain that night and the workers were able to sit in the big field and enjoy the last performance!
Out of the 1800 workers, more than half of them raise their hands and indicated that they would like to attend Church and receive Christ into their lives.
It was a moving moment as we witness God opening and softening the hearts of His people.
Immediately after the whole performance, it started raining again! Was reminded that God is indeed the one holding the rain and allowed the entire performance to go smoothly=)
A trip that was transformational. Came back with a heart filled with gratitude knowing that im not alone in running this race for our Lord Jesus. =)
